Existing building comprised of 5 different buildings built over many different time periods. Cascading desert garden facade that is conceived of a draped veil that is pulled up to create the pedestrian opening at the ground floor. The folds and creases incorporate face lines of the adjacent buildings and downtown context – most notably the Kress building is one of the most notable, historic buildings in El Paso. 209 Mesa picks up the lines.
